When creating a consumer account to apply for coverage through Georgia Access the consumer will be prompted to verify their identity. This verification can often times be validated by using a Remote Identity Proofing (RIDP) automated service. If identity proofing is successful via the automated service, the application process can continue. If the consumer's identity is unable to be verified, the consumer will be prompted to try again later. They may return to the application at a later time to submit their information to an automated service or choose to proceed with "Manual Verification".
If Manual Verification is chosen, the consumer will need to upload documentation to verify their identity. The consumer should upload one of the documents types listed to proceed with manual verification. Their document will be reviewed and the results of the identity verification will be sent to their secure inbox.
