At Georgia Access, the security and privacy of our customers and our partners who work with us to connect Georgians to coverage, is paramount. That is why all agents working in the Georgia Access platform must create their own unique Georgia Access account.
If you are a part of an agency without an agency account (including agents within their own agency), then you will need to do the following to get certified through Georgia Access and create your Georgia Access account:
- Have a valid GA Health Producer License and National Producer Number
- Complete Georgia Access Training
- Allow Georgia Access 5-7 business days to complete your certification.
NOTE: If you are in an agency with multiple agents and not sure of who should be the agency manager, please don’t register your agency without checking with your agency who should have this role.
Step 1. Navigate to the Agent Portal Set-Up Tool located on the Georgia Access website: https://georgiaaccess.gov/for-partners/agents/georgia-access-agent-portal/
Step 2. Use the Agent Portal Set-Up Tool to ensure that you are creating the correct account type.
• You will be asked: “Do you already have an account on the Georgia Access Agent Portal?”
• Select Yes or No
Step 3. If you select No, you will be presented with four options. Select the option
I am an independent agent not affiliated with an agency, but if you are an agency manager with an account in the portal, please reach out to the agency manager to create your account
