What is a 10-Day Free Look Period?

A free look period is a required period of time under state and federal law in which a customer can terminate coverage without penalties or charges following the start of coverage. If a customer has not made any claims against the policy and is not satisfied with the terms and conditions of their policy they have purchased, they can terminate the policy within 10 days of the coverage start date and any premiums paid will be refunded.
