I was denied Medicaid/PeachCare for Kids® after applying for coverage through Georgia Access and Open Enrollment (OE) has ended, how can I get coverage through Georgia Access?

If you are denied eligibility for Georgia Medicaid or PeachCare for Kids® after applying for coverage through Georgia Access during Open Enrollment, and the Open Enrollment period has ended, don’t worry! A Special Enrollment Period (SEP) will automatically be opened for you to come back to Georgia Access to enroll in coverage. Just log into your Georgia Access account and continue to select the right health coverage for your needs and budget.

Please note:

1. Customers must enroll in plan within 60 days of their Georgia Medicaid or PeachCare for Kids® denial. 
2. Coverage will become effective once you have paid your first month’s premium.
3. Need a different start date? If you originally applied through Georgia Access, contact us and request that your coverage start be moved back to the date it would have started if Georgia Access had originally determined you eligible for a plan through Georgia Access (provided complete premium payment is made for the retroactive period).
