I applied for health coverage through the Georgia Department of Family and Children Services but was told that I am not eligible for Medicaid or PeachCare for Kids® coverage, and my application has been transferred to Georgia Access. What does that mean?

It simply means that you can still apply, shop, and enroll in health coverage that is affordable and fits your needs on Georgia’s new state-based marketplace – Georgia Access. You will receive a notice from Georgia Access with information on how to claim your new Georgia Access account, complete your application, and enroll in coverage. If you enroll in coverage through Georgia Access, you may qualify for financial assistance to lower the cost of health coverage and care.
