Georgia Medicaid and PeachCare for Kids® are available to qualifying federally recognized American Indians and Alaska Natives.
If you're eligible for services from the Indian Health Service, or urban Indian programs (Indian Tribe, Tribal Organization or an Urban Indian Organization), including Contract Health Services:
You don't have to pay Georgia Medicaid premiums or enrollment fees.
You don't have to pay out-of-pocket costs for Georgia Medicaid services.
Certain Indian resources and payments aren't counted for Georgia Medicaid and PeachCare for Kids® eligibility, making it easier for some people to qualify.
You can continue to get services through an urban Indian program even if the urban Indian program is not a provider in your program's managed care network.
