All plans through Georgia Access include coverage for prescription drugs. You may be able to buy other medications, but medications covered by your plan will usually be less expensive.
You have the ability to see what plans offered through Georgia Access cover certain prescription medications before you apply for and enroll in coverage. This tool can help you better understand the coverage that is right for you before you actually apply:
- Go to the Georgia Access website. You can either log in or click Start Shopping to browse through plans.
- You can browse plans that Georgia Access generates for you after you enter your household and income information. You can also choose to skip this step by clicking Skip and Sign Up to immediately look at plans.
- An optional questionnaire will then pop up on the next screen. Fill out the appropriate information on the first two screens. Enter a prescription name and dosage, so the plans that Georgia Access generates for you will say if that prescription is covered.
- Plans will either have one of two signs letting you know if the brand name prescription or the generic version is covered.
