Starting November 1st...
If you're looking for a health insurance plan for 2025, Georgia Access has options and we make it easy to browse even before you apply!
- Go to the main Georgia Access website where it says “Get Covered.” If you’re prepared and ready to enroll in health insurance coverage right away, then click on the “Enroll Through the Georgia Access Consumer Portal” button as shown on the Get Covered Page:
If you need a little time to familiarize yourself with the steps (which we highly recommend), then click on the “Help ME FIND THE BEST OPTION” button on the “Get Covered” page, as depicted above.
When you click on “HELP ME FIND THE BEST OPTION” it will bring you to this page of the Georgia Access website:
Georgia Access encourages you to explore your assistance options by completing get help questionnaire.
When you select an option for you are on your way!
- Fill out your household information and birth date(s) of the individuals you're seeking coverage for to browse plans. If you'd like to see if you're eligible for savings, you can enter your annual household income and click Check for Savings. If not, click Browse Plans.
- There is an optional questionnaire you can fill out to help Georgia Access generate plans for your household. You can either choose to opt out by clicking Skip to View Plans, or go through each question by selecting the appropriate answer and clicking Next.
- You should now see different types of health insurance plans. These are sorted by "Low Expense," "Medium Expense" and "Higher Expense." If you filled out the questionnaire, each plan will tell you if, for example, a prescription medication you entered is covered. You can filter plans by various topics, including by deductible price.
