Georgia Access has added a new Qualifying Life Event (QLE) for new customers who have an annual household income equal to or below 150% federal poverty level (FPL), who qualify for financial assistance. If you are not currently enrolled in Georgia Access coverage, and your income is at, or below, the corresponding amount for your household size, all you need to do is submit your new Georgia Access application to see if you qualify!

To enroll in the Special Enrollment Period under this qualifying life event, follow these steps below:
- Go to Georgiaaccess.gov, click Get Covered, and submit a new Georgia Access application.
- If you qualify, a Special Enrollment Period (SEP) will automatically open!
- Once the SEP opens, you will have 60-days to enroll in a plan through Georgia Access. Once you enroll, coverage will begin the start of the following month.
